About the Event
We’re excited to welcome our very own poet Jane Cocke Perdue, whose newest collection, Hit Don’t Make No Never Mind Just Play Hopscotch, has just been published and is now available on Amazon.
A native of Asheville, NC, Jane has lived across the country alongside her husband, Presbyterian minister Roland Perdue. She’s a wife, mother, grandmother, retired teacher, writer, and church elder.
Her previous poetry collections include Bones of My Garden, Stones of Help: My Ebenezers, Paradise to Pentecost and Beyond, and Once Upon My Time—A Taste of Place. Her work has also appeared in the San Antonio Express, The Williamson County Sun, and multiple Texas anthologies, including The Texas Poetry Calendar, Blue Hole, The Enigmatist, Voices Along the River, and Hill Country Poets.
Come enjoy a delightful morning of poetry and fellowship at 10 am in Portable Building, Room 5A. We would love to see you there!
