Youth
THE ROCK is our student ministry for all youth in 6th-12th grade. The cornerstone of this program is our weekly youth group meeting held every Thursday night from 6:00-7:30pm. Youth are given the opportunity to share a meal, play games, build lasting relationships, and have faith-based discussions together.

Throughout the year, we organize various recreational and faith-based events for our youth, such as lock-ins, bowling trips, ga-ga tournaments, and concerts, to ensure they have a well-rounded experience. In addition, we have established a strong collaboration with the Austin-Area Presbyterian Mega Youth Group, with whom we organize events such as laser tag, Ding-Dong Hockey, and movie outings that bring together over 60 youth from the Austin-Area Presbyterian community.
Retreats
Our youth participate in the two annual retreats to help strengthen their faith and build relationships with other followers of Christ.

Youth Main Event at John Knox Ranch
Main Event is a weekend-long retreat that occurs in the fall of each year at John Knox Ranch for youth in grades 6-12. The youth explore scripture and dive deeper into the theme of that year's event. There is also plenty of time for outdoor activities and games to help build and foster lasting relationships with both old and new friends.

Midwinters at Mo Ranch
Midwinters is a weekend-long retreat/conference at the beginning of each year for youth in grades 6-12. It is a great time for the youth and their adult sponsors to play, pray and refresh. During the event, Small Groups provide time for the kids to get to know other youth and explore scripture together. Keynote speakers help foster discussion and dig into the scriptures and theme of the event while music and recreation help round out the large group gatherings. There is also free time that allows the youth to explore Mo-Ranch and enjoying time with friends.
Mission Work
We feel that it’s very important for our youth to learn to serve God by serving others and therefore try to seek out mission outreach opportunities regularly.

Our High School youth also have the opportunity to venture out to serve during our annual week-long youth mission trip, where we look for opportunities for them to experience serving in different environments so they can see the needs of those in other cities as well as in our own backyard.
In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
